UniPulse: a university productivity app
UniPulse puts the things a university student checks every day — deadlines, notices and study material — in one app, and gives university staff a single place to reach the right department or semester. It is built in Flutter, so one codebase runs on Android and iOS.

What we built
- Role-based access. Firebase authentication with separate roles for students, semester admins, department admins and super admins.
- Deadline sync. Assignment deadlines are imported from Moodle and Slate by parsing their calendar feeds, next to the tasks students add themselves.
- Notice board. Department- and semester-specific announcements with priority levels and push notifications.
- Resource library. Lecture notes, past papers, e-books and research, with search, bookmarks and downloads.
- Academic tools. A CGPA calculator, course templates and timetable scheduling.
- Admin dashboard. User, department, course and content moderation, with engagement analytics.
- Offline support. The app keeps working without a connection and syncs to the cloud when it is back.
Why it matters for your project
The same building blocks — role-based access, notifications, an admin panel and syncing with systems people already use — are at the core of most portals, learning platforms and business apps. They are the parts we have already designed, built and tested.
